What is computer?

Input process output and storage is the basic working principle of the computer. computer receives and process data according to set of instruction given by the user and send to the user as a result. the results of the processing are usually sent from an output device.

Input is any data and instructions enter into the memory of the computer. it is the act of entering the data to the computer with the help of input device such as a keyboard mouse, scanner, microphone , light pen etc!

output

And output unit displays the result after processing. the main task of output unit in to display the result. the output is always meaningful the output device can be a monitor,printer or speaker.

storage

Information can be stored on storage mediums like hard disk, floppy disk etc. for future use.

If you want to keep the program or output or both safe for future use, you can save them by sending them to special means of storing information such as floppy disk what is the disk.

processing

The central processing unit (CPU) is responsible to process the data. When a computer gets the input with the help of input device then it starts to process the data. The CPU is also called as the brain of computer system.
